Background
공공 샤워 시설에서의 드라이어 사용에 불쾌감을 느끼는 시민들.
하루에 적으면 수십 명, 많으면 수백 명이 넘는 사람이 오가는 공공시설은 청결이 중요시되는 공간입니다. 수영장, 헬스장, 목욕탕 등 공공시설에서 샤워를 한 뒤 사람들은 수건으로 몸을 닦는 것으로 몸의 물기를 제거하고 드라이어로 머리를 말립니다. 하지만 이 때 집에서 하던 습관 그대로 머리가 아닌 다른 몸 구석구석을 말리는 사람들이 있습니다. 이런 행동은 다른 사람들에게 불청결한 인상과 함께 불쾌함을 가지게 합니다.
이 때문에 바디 드라이어가 비치되어 있는 공공시설이 존재하긴 하지만 많은 사용자들에 비해 바디 드라이어는 한 대 뿐이라, 사용할 때 눈치싸움이 존재하고, 회전율이 좋지 않다는 점에서 여러 명이 동시에 사용할 수 있는 바디 드라이어 디자인을 생각하였습니다.
Public facilities, where dozens or hundreds of people come and go on a daily basis, are places where cleanliness is important. After showering in public facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, and public baths, people dry their bodies by wiping them with a towel and drying their hair with a hair dryer. However, there are people who dry every part of their body other than their hair, just as they used to at home.
This behavior gives the impression of being unclean and unpleasant to others.For this reason, although there are public facilities equipped with a body dryer, compared to many users, there is only one body dryer, so there is a conflict when using it, and the body dryer design that can be used by several people at the same time because the turnover rate is not good I thought.

사용자가 쾌적함을 느낄 수 있는 디바이스로 맨 발, 맨 몸을 직접적으로 닿기 때문에 시각적인 부분 또한 부드러운 인상을 줄 수 있어야 한다고 생각했습니다. 여러 사람이 동시에 사용할 수 있는 바디 드라이어는 마주 보면서 사용하게 되기에 서로를 가려줄 수 있는 파트가 필요하다고 생각해 프라이빗하게 가려줄 수 있도록 불투명한 느낌을 함께 떠올렸습니다. 또한 샤워 후 몸의 남은 습기를 제거해 상쾌함을 선사하는 디바이스로 시원함을 느낄 수 있는 색상을 사용하려고 했습니다.
It is a device that allows users to feel comfortable, and since it directly touches the bare feet and body, I thought that the visual part should also give a soft impression. The body dryer that can be used by several people is used facing each other, so we need parts that can cover each other, so we came up with an opaque feeling to cover it privately. I also tried to use a color that can feel cool by removing the remaining moisture from the body after showering.
Design
전반적인 형태는 사각형 형태로 자칫 딱딱한 느낌을 줄 수 있지만 전체적으로 곡선의 느낌을 살려 연결하여 부드러운 형태를 가지고 있습니다. 위에서 바라봤을 때 다이아몬드 모양을 네 개의 칸으로 나눈 모습이 보이고 동시에 발판의 둥근 패턴이 원으로 보이면서 부드러운 느낌을 한 층 더 선사합니다. 물기가 직접적으로 닿는 발판은 자주 세척이 필요한데, 발판 부분만 따로 쉽게 분리가 가능해서 쉽게 세척이 가능한 형태를 가지고 있습니다. 또한 여러 사람이 동시에 이용할 수 있는 만큼 가림막이 필수적이라고 생각했습니다. 투명한 소재에 연속적으로 일정하게 수직적인 패턴을 넣어 굴곡으로 인한 불투명한 느낌을 연출했습니다.
The overall shape is a rectangular shape, which can give a hard feeling, but it has a soft shape by making use of the curved feeling as a whole. When viewed from above, the diamond shape is divided into four sections, and at the same time, the round pattern of the footrest looks like a circle, giving it a softer feel. Footrests that come in direct contact with water require frequent washing, but only the footrest part can be easily separated, making it easy to clean. I also thought that a screen was essential as it could be used by several people at the same time. We created an opaque feeling due to curvature by adding a continuous and constant vertical pattern to the transparent material.

풍량은 1/2/3 세 단계로 이루어져 있으며, 바람 온도는 시원한 바람/따뜻한 바람 두 가지가 있습니다.
온도에 따라 풍량의 세기를 표시하는 색이 변화합니다.
The air volume consists of three stages of 1/2/3, and the wind temperature has two types: cool wind/warm wind.The color indicating the strength of the air volume changes according to the temperature.

발판은 쉽게 탈부착이 가능해서 편리하게 세척이 가능합니다.
The footrest is easily removable for easy cleaning.
Air hole
16개의 세밀한 구멍을 통해 신체 구석구석 잘 마르지 않는 하반신 부분, 겨드랑이 등 온 몸을 빠르게 말려줄 수 있습니다.
With 16 fine holes, you can quickly dry the entire body, including the lower body and armpits, which do not dry well.
Air inlet
공기를 빨아들이는 흡입구 입니다. 각 파트마다 하나씩, 총 4개의 흡입구가 있으며 안쪽의 모터가 작동되고 공기가 흡입되어 사용자가 올라가 있는 부분의 에어홀을 통해 바람이 분출됩니다.
It's an inlet that sucks in air. There are a total of 4 intakes, one for each part, and the motor inside is activated and air is sucked in, and the wind is blown out through the air hole in the part where the user is raised.
Partition
총 4개의 가림막과 지지해주는 기둥 그리고 기둥 캡으로 이루어져 있습니다. 답답한 느낌이 들지 않도록 가림막 자체는 투명한 재질이지만 세로로 규칙적인 패턴을 만들어서 굴절을 통한 불투명함을 만들어 프라이빗한 느낌을 줄 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다.
It consists of a total of 4 screens, a supporting pillar, and a pillar cap. In order not to feel stuffy, the screen itself is a transparent material, but it is designed to give a private feeling by creating a vertical pattern to create opacity through refraction.
Internal part
내부 부품은 크게 메인/버튼 PCB, 모터, 모터 케이스, 히터, 에어포켓으로 이루어져 있습니다.
사용자가 전원을 켜면 모터가 작동되고, 흡입구를 통해 모터 케이스 안쪽으로 바람이 들어오게 됩니다. 모터케이스와 에어포켓이 연결되어있어 공기가 에어포켓으로 자연스럽게 이동하고 에어포켓의 구멍으로 바람이 분출됩니다. 온도 설정 버튼을 누르면 히터가 작동되어 따뜻한 바람이 분출됩니다.
Internal components are largely composed of main/button PCB, motor, motor case, heater, and air pocket.
When the user turns on the power, the motor operates, and air enters the motor case through the inlet. Since the motor case and the air pocket are connected, the air naturally moves to the air pocket and the wind blows out through the hole in the air pocket. Press the temperature setting button to activate the heater and blow out warm air.
